Current Kansas Board of Cosmetology (licensing board for Body Art Studios), Covid-19 Guidelines State; “Consider discouraging children in the establishment and school. Although they are not considered high risk for complications due to COVID-19, they frequently touch surfaces.” In short Children Should Not Be In Studio During Crisis.
Tattooing and Piercing Children under the age of 18 should not be done due to Moral, Ethical, Maturity, Emotional and Physical Concerns. However, during the Coronavirus Crisis the risk to your child increases greatly within a studio. Please reconsider before allowing risky procedures on your child.
